2. Aperture= 25.4mm/Mesh count - Diameter
3. % Open Area= A/(A+D)² X 100%
4. Micron= Aperture(mm) X 1000
5. Mesh – The number of openings per lineal inch.
6. Aperture- The distance between two adjacent wires
7. Diameter- The thickness of the wire before weaving
8. % Open Area- The ratio of the area of the aperture to the area of the 9.mesh expressed in percentage terms
10. Warp- All wires running lengthwise of the cloth as woven
11. Weft- All wires running across the cloth as woven
Weaving Type-Dutch weave
The diameter of warp and weft yarns is different, the mesh No. is also different, the warp yarn is thick and the weft yarn is thin, the density in warp is less and the density is weft is more. the length dorection is warp and the width direction is weft.
As usual, dutch weave can also be devided into plain dutch weave and Twill dutch weave
Plain Dutch Weave: similar with plain weave, just the weft and warp wire have different wire diameter and different mesh size.the weft wires are of smaller diameter than the warp wires. The wires are woven tightly together resulting in a small triangular opening. This weave produces a strong cloth with a small open area with a good flow rate, making it suitable for high pressure filtration.
Twill Dutch Weave: similar with twill weave, just the weft and warp wire have different wire diameter and different mesh size.it uses a double layer of weft wires woven as a twill pattern. Dutch weave is very strong, with a controlled flow rate and is suitable for where high pressure filtration is required.
